Our history
1940
Mr. Jose Biedma Moya
The founder, José Biedma Moya, starts his own saddlery and leather workshop in Úbeda.
1950
Second generation
His four children join him and will develop new business areas.
1960
Opening to wholesale distribution and first hardware store.
The wholesale division is established, which includes the saddlery products previously available, to which hardware and kitchenware are now added. In addition, the new store expands its offering by incorporating armory products and industrial supplies.
1978
Jose Biedma Moya S.A.
The company grew, making it necessary to change from a sole proprietorship to a public limited company.
1979
Ubetense SA hardware store
At the same time, the new industrial supplies company Ferretería Ubetense SA is established and moved to new facilities.

Third generation
The third generation is joining management positions in various companies.

J. Biedma SA Warehouses
The first wholesale distribution company, separated from José Biedma Moya SA, is built

The second wholesale distribution company that sells hardware items is established, separated from Almacenas J. Biedma, which will now only work with household, garden and electrical appliance products.
